ABA Returns to Kansas City under New Ownership

Press Conference at 810 Sports Zone

Fame Sports & Entertainment LLC will hold a press conference at the 810 Zone (Country Club Plaza) on Wednesday June 24, 2009 at 11:00 AM.  The 810 Zone is located at 4686 Broadway St., Kansas City, MO 64112. 

In May 2009 the American Basketball Association (ABA) awarded FAME Sports & Entertainment an opportunity to bring professional basketball back to the Kansas City area.  According to Joe Newman, ABA CEO, "We feel that Kansas City is a tremendous market for the ABA.  The key is strong ownership, management, marketing and community relations…”

The press conference will highlight key personnel, 2009 team tryout information, the upcoming 2009 ABA Season and organizational direction.
